We monitor many aspects of device and
facility health. We use what we call checks. There
are default checks that are automatically installed when your device is on
boarded (when you start our service). But
there are checks in our repository (automation cookbook) that we can select
if we need them to monitor unique situations in your environment. Here are
two categories of checks: 1 - 24/7
Checks run periodically during the day. For
example, we have a 24/7 check called a “Disk Space Check”. We call
this particular monitoring “Disk Space Monitoring”. You can see how the Disk
Spack Check shows up on our dashboard for the IQWORKS120 Server device.Google AI Overview While some MSPs specialize in specific IT segments,
others focus on specific vertical markets, such as legal, financial services,
healthcare, or manufacturing. |
This Disk Spack Check is set to alert when
there is only 4 gigabytes of space left
on that devices C: drive. We can
change the threshold to alert us when you only have so much (Bytes, Mbytes, GBytes or Percent) disk space left. For this device, it means once you only have 4
gigabytes left on your C: drive , we can set up an
alert process that will email us and/or text us so we can investigate. |
One way we begin our investigation, is to
click on the blue link under the More information column. Now we can see the
total Capacity of the disk and used and free information. |
